Egg drop challenge

During the course of the week me and Mathew engaged on desinging the best possible solution to the eggdrop challange we manged to come up with a suspensions system that very effectivly transffered the kinetic energy from the egg to the structure it was suspended from it did this so well that it tore the cardboard the picture of this are below.
1.       create sketch 1
2.       create sketch 2
3.       create sketch 3
4.       decision matrix
5.       gernate list
6.       ensure material
7.       fit in printer box
8.       hit butcher paper
9.       inside thrid ring
10.   second ring
11.   first ring
12.   hit bullseye
13.   weights less than 500
14.   weighs less than 300
15.   weighs less than 200
16.   took less than ½ second
17.   less than 2 seconds
18.   didn’t break
19.   didn’t break
20.   didn’t break
21.   model on CAD
22.   arithmetic- you can weigh your beginning model of the material s and subtract it from the weight that you want to see how much weight you have left
23.   Geometry you can measeure the angles from you design to make sure that it is up straight and not leaning to one side.
24.   Algrebra- we got an equation from my math teach that is KE=mass*accerleration of gravity * height and this can be used to find the speed of which you design will fall
25.   Math equation from Mrs. Walker KE=mass*accerleration of gravity * height
26.   Design achievment- first egg to break
27.   Achievment name- maybe next year
Here are some pictures from the challenge
